Following the success of our last trip to Gloucester/Symonds Yat back in October, you could be forgiven if you thought that we would not be able to top it, that our expectations were too high!! Well as those of you who were there know, it was a marvellous day again from beginning to end. Spirits could not be dampened by the weather and on arriving in a delightful Chepstow it was much improved as we set forth in search of coffee and shopping. By twelve we were all anticipating the delicious meal we knew was waiting for us at the Paddocks Hotel and they did not disappoint. A brilliant afternoon of dancing, hosted by Ruth followed, only broken by much laughter and the afternoon cream tea served at four. As evening arrived we wearily made our way home, all agreed a fabulous day and a treasured memory!
